GUIDED PARTICIPANT PROGRAM

What is the Guided Participant Program?
    The goal of the program is to recruit and engage financial professionals in the construction industry who are not yet CFMA members.  Through this program participants will benefit from chapter-only membership privileges and guidance from an existing chapter member on how to get the most out of your CFMA experience.  Successful completion of the program will result in a one year paid CFMA membership (national & chapter dues).

Who is Eligible?
    Professionals working in the accounting or finance departments of general contractors or subcontractors.
Why should I apply to be a Guided Participant?
    • Benefit from chapter-only membership privileges from 4/1/25 – 3/31/26
    • Be paired with an existing chapter member who will help you get the most out of CFMA
    • Receive updates on the chapter’s education programs and social events
    • Expand your network by assisting with introductions at chapter events
    • Opportunities to get involved in chapter committees
    • Access to discounted program fees
    • CCIFP incentive available (If you choose to take the CCIFP exam you would qualify for partial reimbursement of the exam and a prep class)
    • If all program qualifications are met you will receive a one year paid CFMA membership (national & chapter dues) for the period 4/1/26 – 3/31/27
Expectations
    • Attendance in a minimum of 4 chapter programs/events          
    • Participation in 3 GPP calls (kick off, mid-program, wrap-up)
    • Ongoing engagement with your assigned chapter member
    • Active participation in a chapter committee (to be confirmed by committee chair)
    • Scorecard completion, documenting the above participation, signed off on by your assigned chapter member

The 2025 application is closed. Check back in early 2026.
