GREATER CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY - January 28, 2026
The chapter's Community Outreach Committee organized a morning of volunteering at the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD), bringing members together in service of our community. Thanks to the collective efforts of our volunteers, this work will help provide food to more than 6,300 households across the Chicago area. The morning concluded with volunteers enjoying lunch together, perfectly reflecting the GCFD’s reminder that “Food brings us together.” An example of how giving back strengthens both our communities and our connections. Thank you to everyone who participated.
REBUILDING TOGETHER METRO CHICAGO - 2026
2026 marked the 9th year that Chicago Chapter members, along with friends and family, have come together to support seniors and their families with home improvements, through the Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago outreach efforts.

On Saturday, April 25, 2026, CFMA members worked in partnership with Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago to make repairs and improvements to a home. The goal of Rebuilding Together is to improve homes and neighborhoods of local residents so they may continue to live in warmth, safety and independence.
Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago ("RTMC" ) believes in a safe and healthy home for everyone, and is dedicated to improving the homes and communities of elderly, disabled and low-income residents.
